Custom 400QJH Pump Selected for a High-Pressure European Water System

A European customer approached us with a deep-well application requiring both large water capacity and very high discharge pressure.

Instead of selecting the pump only by well diameter, the hydraulic duty point was used as the basis for equipment selection.

The final model was:

400QJH210-300/11-300kW

At the rated operating point, the pump provides 210 m³/h flow and a 300 m head.

A 300 kW stainless steel submersible motor provides the required drive power. Stainless steel impellers were also selected for the hydraulic section, while the pump head was manufactured in cast iron.

This customized material arrangement allowed the project to use corrosion-resistant components in important operating areas without unnecessarily changing the entire pump structure to stainless steel.

For a pump of this capacity, several factors must be considered during selection, including installation depth, well diameter, dynamic water level, pipeline length and required discharge pressure.

The completed equipment was configured for the customer’s European project and prepared for international delivery.
