High-Volume Groundwater Supply
With a rated capacity of 100 cubic metres per hour, the pump can support water systems where smaller borehole pumps cannot provide enough volume. It can transfer groundwater to a reservoir, elevated tank, process-water system or distribution pipeline.
Actual delivered flow must be determined from the intersection of the pump performance curve and the system resistance curve.
Industrial Applications
The pump is intended for clean water. It should not be used for sewage, sludge, long fibres or liquids containing large solid particles.
Submerged Operating Design
The pump and motor operate below the water level as a vertical unit. This design allows water to be pushed upward without the suction-height limitations of an above-ground centrifugal pump.
Submerged installation also reduces the amount of surface equipment required around the well.
Stainless Steel Advantages
Stainless steel construction helps improve resistance to corrosion and rust in suitable water conditions. It can be considered for projects where longer material durability or greater water-contact cleanliness is required.
Material suitability still depends on the stainless steel grade and the actual water chemistry. Saline, acidic or high-chloride water must be reviewed separately.
System-Matching Advantages
Reliable System Protection
A properly rated control cabinet should protect the motor against overload, phase loss, phase imbalance, abnormal voltage and dry running. Water-level sensors should stop the pump before the well level reaches an unsafe position.
For variable-demand systems, a compatible variable-frequency drive may be used after confirming motor compatibility, minimum operating frequency, cooling and cable length.
