    The 200QJ32-144/9 deep well water pump combines a 22 kW submersible motor with a nine-stage cast iron pump section. It is rated to deliver 32 m³/h of clean water at a 144 m head and is intended for vertical installation in wells with a minimum diameter of 200 mm.

    Selecting This Model

    This pump is a suitable choice when the calculated operating point is close to 32 m³/h at 144 m head. Model selection should be based on the complete system rather than flow or well depth alone, as changes in elevation, outlet pressure and pipeline resistance affect the actual output.

    Understanding the 144 m Head

    The rated head covers all pressure requirements in the pumping system. It must account for the distance from the dynamic water level to the outlet, the vertical rise after the well, friction through the rising pipe and external pipeline, and any pressure required by the irrigation or supply equipment.

    Confirming the 32 m³/h Flow

    Before selecting the pump, confirm that the water system needs approximately 32 m³/h and that the well can continuously produce this quantity. Installing a pump whose capacity exceeds the well yield can result in falling water levels, unstable output and dry running.

    Minimum Well Diameter

    The “200” in the model indicates that the minimum applicable well diameter is 200 mm. The actual internal casing diameter should be measured because wall thickness, deformation, deposits or misalignment can reduce the available installation clearance.

    Pump Stage Configuration

    The “9” identifies the nine-stage hydraulic configuration. The stages work in sequence to produce the specified head while retaining the narrow shape required for borehole installation.

    Motor Power

    The 22 kW submersible motor is matched to the pump’s rated hydraulic requirements. Site voltage, frequency, phase, starting arrangement and cable size must be confirmed before manufacture or installation; these electrical details should not be assumed from motor power alone.

    Pumped Medium

    The pump is designed to handle clean water. It should not be used for sewage, fibrous wastewater, sludge or liquids containing large particles. Water with excessive sand or corrosive content requires a separate technical review.

    Installation Depth

    The pump should be positioned below the lowest expected dynamic water level so that the motor remains adequately submerged during operation. It should also be installed above the bottom sediment zone to reduce the entry of sand and mud.

    Discharge Pipe

    The rising pipe and external delivery pipe must be sized for 32 m³/h and rated for the expected pressure. An undersized pipeline produces excessive friction loss, which can reduce flow and increase the head the pump must overcome.

    Power Cable and Control

    The cable should be correctly sized for the 22 kW motor, total cable length and site power supply. It must be supported along the rising pipe and protected from sharp edges, stretching and damaged joints. A matched control panel should provide motor and dry-running protection.

    Commissioning

    Before normal operation, verify the pump installation depth, cable insulation, electrical connections, direction of rotation and discharge-pipeline condition. During the test run, check flow, pressure, motor current and changes in the well water level.

    Maintenance Checks

    Operating flow, pressure, current and insulation condition should be checked periodically. A sudden reduction in flow may indicate a lower water level, pipe leakage, blockage or hydraulic wear, while abnormal current can indicate electrical or mechanical problems.

    Is this a 200 mm diameter pump?

    The number 200 indicates the minimum applicable well diameter rather than necessarily stating the exact outside diameter of the pump. The actual pump dimensions should be confirmed on the technical drawing.

    Is 32 m³/h the maximum flow?

    It is the rated flow identified by the model. Actual flow depends on the total system head and should be checked on the pump performance curve.

    Is 144 m the vertical lifting height?

    Not exactly. The 144 m head must also cover friction losses and required outlet pressure. The available vertical lift will therefore be lower when the pipeline is long or the outlet requires additional pressure.

    Why is a 22 kW motor required?

    The motor power is matched to the pump’s hydraulic duty and nine-stage configuration. Correct power selection helps the pump deliver its rated performance without overloading under approved operating conditions.

    Can the pump be installed at the bottom of the well?

    It should not rest directly on the well bottom, where mud and sand can accumulate. The pump should remain above the sediment zone while staying sufficiently below the dynamic water level.

    Can the pump be operated with a generator?

    A generator may be used if it provides the correct voltage, frequency and phase and has adequate capacity for motor starting and continuous operation. Generator and starting-method selection should be confirmed by an electrical engineer.

    Can a frequency converter control the pump?

    A compatible frequency converter may be used for flow or pressure regulation. The motor, minimum operating frequency, cooling conditions and cable length should be verified before installation.

    What data should be checked before purchase?

    Check the required duty point, well diameter, well depth, static and dynamic water levels, well yield, pipe size, delivery distance, water quality, power supply, starting method and cable length.
